    Squat machine hurting my... back?

I took this machine off my smart tag b/c when I weighed a lot more, it hurt my knees. I tried it again yesterday and my knees didn't hurt anymore. Today, I added the squat machine back and did it twice and now my back is sore I think I may have strained my back getting under those shoulder pads things. Has this happened to anyone else? Did I do something wrong?

    Daisy,
Be sure to have a trainer check your alignment getting into and using the machine. It's important to use the correct form on that one. Well, on all of them, really.

Correct form will make all the difference! I suffer from chronic back and knee pain and the machine does not impact at all... once i got the hang of it, that is. Good luck!
If you can imagine it, you can achieve it. If you can dream it, you can become it...

Personal Goals.... Work my way back to a range of 140- 145 pounds and MAINTAIN!!!!!

I told the manager today about it and she said the pads to lift are heavy but she will have a coach lift the pads for me each time I get in so I don't hurt my back
