Lost 60 pounds & 3 chins!

I joined Curves a year ago after the death of my husband. I took out all my pain and anger on the machines - poor machines. Now a year later I lost 60 pounds and 3 chins but gained self-worth and so much more. The owner of my Curves asked me to enter their most amazing members contest.

Best of luck to you all in your Curves journey. You go girls!

Hey, welcome here, my condolences on the sad loss of your husband, and many congratulations and kudos on your weight loss this past year! Those "poor" machines would probably delight in knowing that they are the outlet for someone's grief work - what a useful and therapeutic existence they have for many of us! I'm glad you found this forum, and I hope we can mutually encourage and support each other on our respective journeys. It's a good place to hang out!

What an inspiring story. So many people would take it the other way. I am so sorry for your loss and very proud of you for your "other loss".

Please stick around. This is a really cool bunch of people.

What Pontooner said - I am so impressed that you did something productive with your grief! I am sorry to hear of your loss.

You have really done well!
